A few updates....
It has stopped raining. 
I got my email at work done. 
I picked up 8 slugs earlier and they weighed 2oz, they were very fat because they have been eating my plants! 
My cold is going. 
I am going to book a holiday for September to Italy in the next few days.

It has been pouring with rain during the night and again this morning, I woke up a few times during the night and could hear the rain clattering against the windows, it seemed as if someone was chucking a bucket of water at the house. There were little rivers on lots of the roads and people seemed to be taking it easy on the way in, the car park at work was a mud bath.
Have come into work today, I am feeling a bit better, I am sure the cold is on the way out, but I will take it easy and get off on time. The husband now has my cold which is not so good.
