Three crows have been sitting around a bird feeder in my garden.  They seem to have worked out that the feeder hangs on a hook and that if they lift the feeder up they can then drop it on the floor.  Once it is on the floor, they can have everything that is in it.

They have taken it in turns trying to lift the feeder, using different angles but with no luck.  Then one of them seemed to take over and just kept trying and trying until he was able to lift it off.  He then went to the floor and ate his prize, I think he let the other have a little share.

How interesting that these birds seem to be working out what they needed to do and then trying different methods to get the feeder down.  They must be quite clever.
