Snow is falling...

.. well the weather man said it should be, but no new white stuff here. Maybe I have spoken to soon.

I am feeling quite organised for Christmas, this is helped as I do not have to cook. We will be going to visit family on Christmas-eve and we will be back after Boxing Day. The puss has to go and stay in the cattery while we are away. I have not told her this yet but she is not going to be impressed.

I have not been out in the garden at all recently. The summer bedding plants are all dead and really need to be cleared away. I need to get it done or I will not be able to see the spring bulbs when they come. Currently the ground is covered in snow so not something I will be doing today.

I am off to M&S this morning for a few last bits, not sure what our afternoon plans will be, I might just be catching up with house work and study.

supposed to be falling here as well, but we have blue skies and sun after days of rain. I am also feeling organised other than the food, still no idea what that will be. Have a lovely time at your familys and a great christmas.

We still have some geranium plants alive in the garden it as been incredable mild here and no snow here eaither.xx

  Really, all my plants a black sticks now. We have had a few frosts and snow laying for several days.

It s hard sorting the garden in this weather! My pups have ripped mine to bits....we had snow yesterday and strangely enough snow on the same date last year...not as bad this time round, nearly all gone. We also still have a few flowering annuals....how strange is that!!! Been very mild until recently...xxxx

  Compared to last year we have nothing at the moment. Ours is going a little I think. I did have a lavender trying to flower but the cold has put a stop to that.

We had a sprinkling of snow Thursday but it didn't stop us going to Morrisons - like you I am organised, even did some baking earlier as we have company later (subject them to my cheese scones!)

Fortunately for our cats we shall be at home for Christmas not that they have seen inside the cattery this year as we haven't had a holiday - (the only time we have been out of Lincolnshire/Yorkshire was last weekend when we went to Coventry for the night shoot!)
