Eating me out of house and home...

I mentioned today that we have siskins in the garden, it seems that not many people get these little birds in their gardens. I counted about 12 at one time today along with almost as meny chaffs and other asorted birds, they are getting through loads of sunflower seed.

Here are a few photos of the little fellas, well one of them is a girl.

  I think they are all over but not sure they go in gardens much. I think the ones here are just enjoying a feast.

We occasionally get a siskin at our feeders, but not for a couple of years at least. Mind you, I'm not looking most of the time...
